Some of my brainstorming and hand drawn sketches for the project. He messaged me with inspirational images he looked at, and he told me an idea of what he was looking for in his logo.

These are the digital sketches I sent to him. I numbered them when I sent them to him so that he could tell me which number design he liked and which number typeface he liked.

When he picked which logo and typeface he liked I sent him another set of sketches showing different ways the logo can be arranged. I also played around with color in this set of sketches.

He picked out this arrangement. He also asked if I could play around with the design a little further by trying out incorporating a chili pepper or a "D". He also asked me if I could try out both the design and the color on the last logo (with the brighter red). I also shrunk down the designs to show him how they would look if they were small or far away. He decided on the last one as his logo.

Latest Update: Here is the first package design I did for the hot sauce. I designed a "danger level" for him to show the level of hot the sauce will be.

Client/Class: Derek
Year: 2019
I worked on a small, starting hot sauce brand called "Derek's Dangerous Dips". I designed the logo and the packaging for the hot sauce. I will likely design more packaging for it in the future.
