With the UWeather app viewers can search their university to view their weather and learn the weather conditions before walking to class.
UWeather also suggests clothing most suitable for the weather. This could help students dress properly for their walk to class without being too cold or too hot,
The app also lets students know about cancellations or delays.

In Typography 4 we had a project where we each designed our own app. We could choose between a weather, space, health, or campus app. I chose to design a weather app for college students called UWeather (University Weather). UWeather's purpose is to inform students of the weather conditions to help them to properly prepare for the weather. The app would tell students how they should dress, if their school has any cancellations or delays, and the usual weather information such as wind and humidity. The app would also let them know if it is too windy for an umbrella on a rainy day. Each weather condition makes the app page a different color. This feature would allow students to quickly determine whether it is sunny or rainy before they rush out to head to their classes.
